Making a Splash with Children’s Photography

If I haven’t said it before, I adore the beach. There is nothing quite like the sound of waves crashing or the aroma of sea salt wafting through the air. However, the beach becomes ten times more fun when I have the pleasure of capturing a family’s time on it. This past Sunday, I got to play with the c family on banks of York Beach, Maine. The weather was simply stunning as I watched William enjoy all the wonders that summer has to offer. William’s attempts to splash me with water made for some amazing smiles and reminded me that  as a children’s photographer I get to be goofy and play with children for a living. Perhaps one of my favorites is him with the chocolate ice cream cone, it just screams quintessential summer! Children’s photography is perfect for the beach because there are so many different elements for the children to interact with. The c family perfectly captured the spirit of summer as they ran around on the beach and showed their love for one another. Mom is expecting baby number 2 in October, and I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to this already awesome family.
